Domus Academy Creates Scholarship Program

MILAN — Italian design and fashion institute Domus Academy has launched 12 contests in collaboration with a range of international companies to grant 60 post-graduate scholarships. For each contest, the three best contenders will see the fees of their post-graduate courses covered for 60 percent, 50 percent and 40 percent, respectively. Two honorable mentions granting 20 percent coverage out of the total tuition fee will be additionally bestowed for each category. The contests reflect Domus Academy’s 12 globally recognized master’s programs, which are divided into four thematic areas ranging from design and fashion to business. The institute teamed with MM6 Maison Margiela for the “Pop the Pop-up” project, which was developed to assign scholarships for the master’s degree in fashion management. Candidates are asked to present innovative ideas to support the brand’s pop-up strategy, balancing creativity with feasible and cost-effective implementations. For the masters in fashion design, the “You are the talent” contest developed with Vogue Talents — Vogue Italia’s talent-scouting platform — will award the best fashion collections submitted, evaluated according to the criteria of innovation and sustainability.
